At Saint George Catholic Church, we have several committees that could use your support. Please see the committee descriptions below and contact the appropriate person if you're interested in getting involved.

WELCOME AND WELLNESS COMMITTEE:
A new committee formed to provide information to new parishioners and for a parishioner who would like to contribute to or receive assistance from our Wellness Committee.

PARISH COUNCIL ACTIVITIES COMMITTEE:
Organize and prepare for parish social functions such as the Parish Picnic, Lenten Soup Night, dinners, breakfasts, etc. Volunteers assist with shopping, setting up, serving, and cleaning up.

BEREAVEMENT COMMITTEE:
A group of parishioners who have joined together to assist a family as they try to cope with the various moments and needs which come with the death of a loved one. They help set up the parish hall and are available to help serve food and coffee. This group also organizes an annual memorial Mass for all those buried from our parish during the past year.

PRO-LIFE COMMITTEE:
The purpose of this committee is to educate the parish community to what Pro-Life is and does through the weekly bulletin and bulletin board. To encourage prayers - weekly Rose for Life. To encourage activism by aiding Pro-Life Agencies such as Problem Pregnancy and Birthright, which assist women in troubled pregnancies. Help parishioners get involved in responding to legislation concerning family life and abortion.

BUILDING & MAINTENANCE COMMITTEE:
Its purpose is to address building, grounds, and maintenance issues as they arise.
