At Saint George Catholic Church, we believe
in helping our neighbors. Here are several outreach
programs that could use your help. Click on a program

HOSPITAL
EUCHARISTIC MINISTERS:
Administer the Holy Eucharist to the sick at MetroWest
Hospital. The parish assignment is 3-4 days a month
and the assignment is done on a rotation basis.

MIRACLE
KITCHEN:
People participating in the Miracle Kitchen choose either
to cook or serve people who go to the Salvation Army
in Framingham for supper. Our night is the first Thursday
of the month from 4:45 - 7:00pm. Very rewarding experience
and not a big commitment.

GENERIC
MINISTRY:
Teens prepare "Lunches" to be distributed
to homeless people in the Boston Area on the first and
second week of each month.

A PLACE
TO TURN:
A collection of food and hygiene necessities is advertised
in the bulletin each month and donated by the parishioners
on the last weekend for the needy in the area.

PINE
STREET INN FOOD COLLECTION:
This stewardship project has been with our parish for
many years. At present, many families contribute monthly
to the INN. On a rotating basis, items are donated,
brought to the Rectory foyer before 3:00pm on the first
Monday of each month. This is an easy way to help people
in need, no cooking, no delivery to Boston, just purchase
and drop the food items and everything is delivered
directly to Pine Street Inn.

HELPING
HANDS/FRIENDLY VISITORS:
This group of parishioners offers its services and time
to other members of the parish who might need a ride
to church, the doctor or to run errands.

ST. VINCENT
de PAUL SOCIETY:
The primary apostolate of this society is to assist
parishioners in need by donating goods or funds to them.
The main source of funds is the money donated by parishioners
in the boxes located at the doors of the church. Meetings
are once a month on the first Monday at 7:00pm.
